  Our NEC SV8100 VoIP ready telephone system has so many features right out of the box, it's impractical to list them all. The best part about this system is that these features are so user friendly and easy to use, which doesn't always mean the same thing. Take directory dialing for instance. Almost all communications systems have speed dial functionality. Speed dial is a user friendly feature. But it is not always easy to use. The SV8100, however, uses an easy to remember, cell phone based, dial by name directory. On all display phones there is a softkey labeled DIR, short for directory, which when pressed gives you access to company wide, personal, or extension sub-directories. When you press any one of these keys you can then dial the name of the contact you are looking for using the keypad, just like on a cell phone. Just dial in the first two or three letters of the contact, press the volume up key to start scrolling through alphabetically, and when you find the one you are looking for, simply press the speaker key or lift the handset. The call will go out on the first available line. No service codes or speed dial bin numbers to remember. See? User friendly and easy to use! Each user can also have a login screen on your local in-house computer network for making their own changes to their deskphone and voice-mail without having to incur the expense of a service call, helping you keep down the cost of ownership. 
     Our Music-on-Hold and Advertising-on-Hold program, TSI AudioStudio, is unique in the fact that TSI has developed technology that allows you to record your own announcements in your own voice, and we insert them into the music environment that you have pre-selected. In this way you ensure that all pronunciations, dates, times, etc. are just as you need them.
